Sally is a Sunshine Coast hairdresser with more than 20 years of experience in the hair industry. Throughout her career, she has worked with a variety of professional haircare and colour brands, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise along the way.

Having spent more than half her life in the industry, Sally was exposed to chemicals on a daily basis. When the time came to start a family, she became focused on creating the healthiest possible lifestyle for herself and those around her. She realised that reducing exposure to fumes, toxins, and harsh chemicals was an important step toward both her personal wellbeing and creating a healthier working environment.

In 2023, Sally made the decision to transition to a low-tox colour range—a move that proved to be a game changer.

No strong chemical smells. No watering eyes. No burning scalps.

The difference was immediate, and it reinforced her belief that quality hair services and healthier product choices could go hand in hand.

Then came 2025—one of the most memorable years of Sally's life. Stepping away from the salon, she and her family set off on a caravan adventure, embracing a slower pace of life and creating lasting memories together.

Life became simpler.

Slow mornings. More family time. Space to reflect on what truly matters.

Health was at the top of the list—both mental and physical wellbeing.

It was during this journey that the vision for Sal.On Haircare was born.

Sally wanted to create a range of products that she could genuinely trust and proudly use herself—products that were natural, effective, and of exceptional quality.
